softwares useful for Technical Students

1.Power Scientific caluclator
It includes hundreds of mathematical function ,It is more useful fo B.Tech students
DOWNLOA D Power Scientific caluclator
Description: AC3D is a popular 3D object/scene modeller available for Linux, Windows 95/98/NT, and SGI Irix. It is powerful and very easy to use. The intuitive interface allows good-looking 3D objects to be created very quickly. Powerful low level vertex/polygon tools allow detailed editing which is difficult with other packages.

Authenticated User Community
Description: Is an intranet system designed for use in a K-12 setting but is also useful in many other settings. It offers the ability for users to have a uniform web-based interface to discussion forums, e-mail (similar to hotmail, etc.), file management, and a searchable user database. Also, "Interactive Classrooms" provide a means for students and teachers to have a web-based extension to their in-class interaction

Description: Baudline is a real-time signal analysis tool and an offline time-frequency browser. It has a built-in tone generation capability and it can play back audio files with a multitude of effects and filters. Designed for environmental analysis missions that range from modulation parameter measurements to searching for transient signals that go bump in the night, baudline combines fast digital signal processing, versatile high-speed displays, and continuous capture tools for hunting down and studying elusive signal characteristics.

Crosstalk Analizer
Description: Crosstalk Analizer is an application to detect crosstalk problems in submicronic circuits (chips). The analysis is based on the circuit layout, circuit specifications (which depend on the chip fabrication process), and on filters or parameters given by the user. All parameters can be modified by the user.

Description: CTSim is a Computed Tomography simulator. It simulates the process of obtaining x-ray data around a phantom object. It then uses various reconstruction algorithms for reconstructing the original image. It supports animation of projection and reconstruction processes, 3-dimensional viewing using OpenGL as well as cross platform support using GTK and Win32

Description: EyeFract is a Julia and Mandelbrot set (fractal) generator. It provides total control over all aspects of generating these sets, including the ability to create fractals beyond the typical quadratic family. A list of functions is provided for use including trigonometric functions. It has JPEG export capability, and includes presets for fractals and colormaps.

Description: Ghemical is a molecular modelling software package with a GUI (one for the GLUT library and another for GNOME) and some nice 3D-visualization tools. It can do all-atoms molecular mechanics and dynamics, athough the current parameter set is still experimental. It can also be used as a graphical front-end for the quantum chemistry program MPQC. Ghemical is written in C++, and hopefully offers a good framework for a generic freeware molecular modelling tool.

Gnofract 4D
Description: Gnofract 4D is a Gnome-based program to draw fractals. What sets it apart from other fractal programs (and makes it "4D") is the way that it treats the Mandelbrot and Julia sets as different views of the same four-dimensional fractal object.
